Mottcell is the leading global battery manufacturer providing lithium-ion solutions that offer world-class performance tailored to applications in the industrial and energy markets. We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our company.
• Develop strong relationships with the engineering teams and senior technical management of our customers, and with Mottcell local partners.
• Assume primary responsibility for all technical liaisons on customer projects during the introduction, specification, integration and ongoing support of Mottcell energy storage solutions.
• Assist in the definition of next generation, class leading energy storage systems in conjunction with Mottcell engineering teams including collecting industry, customer, and market data through daily interactions with customers. Utilize this information to develop product and technology requirements and roadmaps.
• Travel including some “last minute” on-site requests will be required.
• BSEE, BSME or equivalent experience and education.
• Have at least 4 years application engineering experience.
• Have experience in both power and control systems.
• Experience with battery systems and energy storage systems would be an asset.
• Experience with energy storage system, UPS systems and stationary power systems would be an asset.
• Be self-assured and well organized, have excellent oral and written communications skills, and have IT skills.
